As the UK production partner for Fox Sports, BTV was commissioned to produce the opening film for the NFL divisional playoffs, featuring Jason Statham. Shot inside the prestigious Raffles Hotel in London, the creative centred around the natural contrast of a distinctly British character introducing one of America’s biggest sporting events, leaning into a visual style inspired by classic British gangster cinema.

Working from the supplied script, the production embraced rich, atmospheric visuals, with Statham positioned in a dark wood-panelled setting, tailored suit and whisky in hand, echoing the aesthetic and tone of films such as 'The Gentleman'. Captured using three RED cinema cameras, the project was delivered by a lean, highly collaborative crew operating on a tight turnaround, with filming completed on Friday ahead of the broadcast airing the following day.

With the client remaining in the United States throughout production, Fox Sports relied entirely on BTV to oversee and execute the project from end to end, from creative interpretation and set styling through to full shoot execution and final handover.
